Split, Croatia has a rich history spanning over 1,700 years, anchored by the famous Diocletians Palace built in AD 305.
Roman Emperor Diocletian built his massive retirement palace on the Dalmatian coast, which later formed the historic core of the modern city.
The reason is that I am visiting Split at the moment. What an interesting and beautiful city.

Great day today. Went into Split town centre for a drink and then watched Hajduk Split beat Osijek 4-0 at the Puljud Stadium Split.
How did you meet your significant other?
I met my significant other at Manly one night. We have been together ever since. We met 1993 and have never looked back.
What a fantastic drive and ferry ride to Korcula today. The old part historical town of Korcula was amazing. Great drive, ferry walk and swim. A day I will never forget.

Great day today going through all the historical town and city of Split. Did a great walking tour and as a tradition, did the hop on hop off bus tour. 2nd favorite port city in world.
